At Geoservin, we process the information provided to us by interested parties for different purposes. Each of these purposes is described below according to the data processing carried out:

  • Processing of data for the exercise of data subjects' rights: we process the information provided to us by data subjects in order to manage and respond to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under data protection regulations.
  • Processing of data collected via the website contact form: we process the information provided by interested parties in order to respond to their requests and send promotional communications about our services.

3. How long will we keep your data?

Each data processing operation will have a retention period. Therefore, we indicate the retention period based on the different data processing operations we carry out at Geoservin:

  • Processing of data collected via the website contact form: Data will be retained for the time necessary to resolve requests, unless the data subject requests its deletion.

Each data processing operation will have a different legal basis. Therefore, we indicate the legal basis for each of the data processing operations we carry out at Geoservin:

  • Processing of data for the exercise of data subjects' rights:
    • Compliance with a legal obligation: to manage and respond to requests from data subjects exercising their rights under data protection regulations (GDPR, Art. 6.1.c).
  • Processing of data collected in the contact form on the website:
    • Performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures: Responding to your request (GDPR, Art. 6.1.b).
    • Consent of the data subject: To send promotional communications, including by electronic means. (GDPR, Art. 6.1.a, LSSICE Art. 21).

5. To whom will your data be disclosed?

Depending on the data processing, data may be transferred to other recipients. To this end, we detail below what data transfers will take place in each of the data processing operations we carry out at Geoservin:

  • Processing of data for the exercise of data subjects' rights:
    • Supervisory authorities, public administration bodies and the Ombudsman, where applicable, for the purpose of managing and responding to requests and possible complaints (legal requirement).
  • Processing of data collected on the website contact form: No data will be transferred to third parties, except where legally required.

Depending on the data processing, data transfers to third countries may occur. To this end, we break down each of the data processing operations we carry out at Geoservin, indicating whether any data transfers to third countries take place:

7. What are your rights when you provide us with your data?

Any person has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not Geoservin is processing personal data concerning them.

Interested parties have the right to access their personal data, as well as to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its deletion when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected. You also have the right to data portability.

In certain circumstances, interested parties may request the limitation of the processing of their data, in which case we will only keep it for the exercise or defence of claims.
